Lexington Healthcare Hyperbaric Therapy and Wound Care Center came into existence on May 3, 2019 via a partnership between Lexington Healthcare and GV Foundation. GV Foundation is a private non profit organization founded by Drs. Suma and Kiran with the intention of reducing amputation rates and improving limb salvage. The first Lexington Healthcare Hyperbaric Therapy and Wound Care Center was started on the fouth floor of Lexington center opposite MTR Hotel.

Hyperbaric Medicine involves delivering 100% oxygen under two to three atmospheres of pressure in a specially pressurized chamber for a specified time period depending on the indication. The center has two Sechrist monoplace chambers which can house one patient each at a time. Sechrist chambers are completely transparent and they are the industry standard. Along with Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the center offers wound care as well. Physicians at the center employ modern wound care techniques with the goal of complete healing and minimal tissue loss and prevention of major amputation.
